In principal the Customer Concierge is to assist our customer facing teams in delivering exemplary service and sales support to Heathrow Express customers arriving at Terminal 2. Working predominately in the new Terminal and within the airport environment, the role will be varied, dynamic and challenging, with delivering a personalised service being the primary focus.

You will need to demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic and flexible approach to your duties, offering our customers exemplary service every time.

Confidence to engage and interact with customers whilst exhibiting a genuine passion and pride for the role will be essential and an emphasis should be placed upon driving quality, performance and productivity.

Selling tickets and providing accurate information will be key to enable customers to make a well informed travel decision. You will need to be fully attentive to customer needs with expertise in attracting new business and converting enquiries into sales.

In addition to other duties, you will be accountable for the selling zones and will be expected to maintain the areas keeping them clean, safe and functional whilst providing optimum levels of customer care.

Successful candidates will work on a shift basis and will have excellent communication and interpersonal qualities and a good level of numeracy and literacy aptitude.

This is a challenging position that involves periods of lone working and the requirement to stand for long periods at a time and you must be capable of moderate physical activity, be medically fit and meet accepted standards which will be tested during a medical.

Due to this role being within an Airport environment you will be asked to provide references for the last five years from your current or past employers, university, college or school and will need to account for any gaps of 2 weeks or more including if you were out of work or on an extended holiday you will also be required to complete a Criminal Record Check and receive clearance from Disclosure Scotland following this background check
