An opportunity has arisen to join the Heathrow Express Team as a Sales Manager.


Heathrow Express operates in to and out of, one of the world’s busiest airports and providing the best airport service is what we do every day.


Transporting over 16,000 customers every day between Heathrow Airport and London Paddington, means Heathrow Express is the automatic choice for many.


The Heathrow Express sales team is growing and as a Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 130 frontline colleagues – Customer Concierges and Mobile Sales Agents - with line management responsibility for a team of up to 30.


The role of Sales manager is a dynamic one. You are continually mobile, working across the expansive airport terminal and Paddington Station environment, offering coaching, training, feedback, sales and service support and line management wherever you go.


Our teams work in busy terminal and station environments, generating sales through the effective implementation of our “Selling Through Service” strategy. You must be able to demonstrate your own inspirational and motivational style in leading teams to achieve our ambitious performance aspirations and be passionate about delivering a step change in the customer experience.

Core Duties:

  • Work in a team to provide exceptional management to your team, driving efficiency to achieve daily, weekly and monthly performance targets in both sales and customer service.
  • Design and deliver organisation wide sales training, coaching and assessments.
  • Produce and use a fleet of performance dashboards to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Be an experienced sales motivator and recognise and use exceptional customer service skills to drive customer satisfaction.
  • An inspirational and skilled line manager that can lead a team that wants to be the best they can every day.
  • Have experience of working with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
