Job Overview

Accountable for the quality and performance of the revenue centre team to create an engaged and customer focused workforce. Manage the safe and effective operation of the Revenue Centre, it's people, processes, reporting and assets.

Support the recruitment, selection and training of team members and line manage the employee lifecycle.

Line management of Revenue Centre team.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Safe operation, verification, distribution, reconciliation, processing and banking of all internal sales. Adherence to all finance and audit processes, SLA's and procedures - maintaining accurate record keeping and databases. Write, set and implement processes and process changes.
  • Managing and auditing of all internal sales revenue collection equipment, ensuring they are available and operating in line with SLAs.
  • Create and cascade relevant objectives, briefings and company communications to teams ensuring strong lines of communication between Finance, Operations and Commercial teams.
  • Manage people performance and absence to create an engaged workforce who deliver a premium customer focused service. Lead investigations into discrepancies, incidents, grievances, disciplinary, misconduct or absence matters in accordance with the company processes and procedures.
  • Revenue project implementation as required

Framework and Boundaries

  • The Revenue Centre is a key part of the Heathrow Express sales and cash management operation. An efficient and effective operation is essential to enable sales staff and ticketing machines and equipment to provide a full customer service during operating hours, and to ensure integrity of cashflow and sales reporting through cash controls and management fo third party providers.
  • The main relationships for this role include: Sales and Operations management and frontline teams, nion representatives, External Business Partners, Commercial, HR and Finance

Qualifications and Experience


  • Define and manage targets for the revenue team;


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Complex manipulation of Excel and databases for revenue performance


  • Evidence maintenance and integrity of process control measures
