Your role will involve: 


  • Strategic leadership of the Marketing and Digital team, setting clear objectives and priorities for them to deliver against. Supporting individuals to grow and develop into a high performing team, engaged, empowered and supported to be their best. Focusing on the need to deliver the business commercial targets, elevate brand awareness and consideration and deliver a leading customer experience.


  • Manage and optimise the Marketing and Digital budget for the development and delivery of all on and off-line marketing campaigns for Heathrow Express. Managing the delivery of cost efficiencies in media buying and account or project management.


  • Monitor and report on all marketing campaigns and activations against objectives including passenger journeys & revenue targets. Using the data, market analysis and customer research to improve our marketing activity and brand communications.


  • Develop key agency relationships to generate marketing plans and brand communication that build awareness, consideration and usage for Heathrow Express, both in the UK and internationally.


  • Develop an audience led approach. Using data to build a more granular and segmented view of our customers, enabling more targeted and relevant marketing and CRM activations.


  • Manage and evolve a premium brand. Defining a clear and consistent brand position with a winning proposition. Giving us a platform for communication ensuring that Heathrow Express is the preferred choice by customers, creates a sense of pride with employees and is recognised as best in class within our market/industry. 


These skills are essential: 


  • 10+ year’s marketing experience across on and offline preferably gained in the travel, retail or hospitality sector 
  • Experience creating and owning a multi-channel marketing plan 
  • A high degree of self-motivation, leadership and experience in developing high performing team 
  • Management of budget and multiple agencies 
  • Development and assembly of marketing assets that engages customers. 
  • Personal experience of leading the development of a premium brand.
